Madhugiri ಮಧುಗಿರಿ
Madhugiri is famous for housing the second-largest monolith in Asia. The massive Madhugiri Fort, built on the steep slopes of the monolithic hill, features intricate gateway structures and water tanks built by local chieftains. Madhugiri is also known for its extensive pomegranate orchards and sweet honey-gathering traditions that gave the town its name (Honey Hill).
